The world is fast becoming a place of great confusion and stress. Conflicting demands on your time may be causing you sometimes to lose yourself in the roles you play. You try to keep up and manage your health, your feelings, your relationships, your work and life and your finance, but somehow the way to relaxation, confidence and success seem to far away, and you end up worried, maybe even a little depressed. Most people put an enormous effort to change their unhappy circumstances with the skills they have but it leads nowhere because those skills (or lack of them) are what brought them to this point in the first place.
The sad part is that constant failure attempts to change that brings people to giving up on relationships, on love life, on success and even their health.
Many people start compromising, negotiate with circumstances that high jacked their happiness. They just give up and live and unhappy and unfulfilled life believing this is their destiny. It is not!

Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
Most of our life, we cruise through life and react to uncomfortable situations, rather than having a clear vision of our desired life and pursuing that vision. At Be Happy in LIFE, we believe that happiness is a learned skill that, unfortunately, we do not learn in school.

How your life coach helps
The relationship between you and your coach will determine the success of your program. Your life coach will study your circumstances, your beliefs, thoughts and adjust the program to your needs and goals.
Whatever you want to achieve is acceptable and every desire is treated as an honest desire. Your coach will help you find where you may be stuck and show you ways to get your life flowing forward again.
Your life coach will be in contact with you in between sessions and encourage you practice your new tools and empower you to take small steps forward towards your success and achievement.
Many people, overwhelmed by obligations (“musts” and “shoulds”), blame others or their circumstances in order to be able to cope with their less-than-ideal situation. This is a trap, which only reinforces the situation and increases the feeling of being out of control.
If your happiness depends on what somebody else does, I guess you do have a problem.

Consider this: when you were young, you learned from your environment and people around you how to navigate through life. You develop certain habits and thoughts that were useful to you at the age you learned them. Unfortunately, life is changing and evolving and what was right for us years ago is no longer helpful for us to navigate life in different circumstances.
You can compare it to navigation in the old times. When we looked for directions, someone (our parents, teachers, culture) told us to go 2 streets and turn left at the roundabout. We could only remember 3 steps forward, and then, had to ask another person for further instructions.
Today, we use a GPS that can be with us at all times and lead us all the way to our destination in the fastest way.
A life coach will teach you to develop this GPS that will be with you all the time and for it to get you quickly and safely to your destination. If you want a healthy happy ride, you need to update your thoughts, habits and feelings.
Updating is the name of the game. If you took a 30-year-old map of your city and tried to navigate with it today, you’ll face many obstacles along the way. You’ll get lost.
Try it! Go find a map of your city from when you were 5 years old and see if you can navigate to places you visit regularly today. You’ll find that many of the streets have changed or never existed. The speed limit was different. It is simply impossible to navigate today using “old maps”.
Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness.
As it turns out, we all have lots of these old thoughts in our heads, which have become part of who we are, but keeping them makes us view the world as hard , not fair and sometimes cruel and it is hard for us to be happy and fulfilled.

Our life coaching program was written by the creator of the Be Happy in LIFE Program, Ronit Baras, who is an expert in emotional intelligence and has 38 years of experience.
In this program, clients are introduced to many research based techniques in time and stress managements, the art of motivation, mind power, the science of human behaviour , meditation, psychology communication, relationship and business development.
The program uses Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to eliminate undesirable thinking patterns that causes the challenges in their life and limit their success and happiness. NLP is very successful as it helps deal with the subconscious.
Your coach will teach you to use those techniques on yourself and those around you to make it easy for you to apply them whenever you feel your conscious and subconscious are not in sync.
The person born with a talent they are meant to use will find their greatest happiness in using it.
How our life coaching program helps
When taking the Be Happy in LIFE program you learn assessment tools to find where you are and where you are heading. You will identify the source of your beliefs, study their impact on your life, examine their validity and eliminate them if you think they are “unhealthy” or not useful.
In their place, you’ll choose new beliefs that promote success, abundance, relationships, support, love and good communication and happiness.
You’ll update your “map” and upgrade to fast tracking devices that will get you to your destination faster. The program will help you find strengths from within and teach you how to stay strong and focused even if life is not happening exactly the way you wanted by using your own wants as a guide.
Not what your parents wanted for you. Not what your partner, friends or boss want. Not even what your life coach wants for you.
What you want! And you gain control over your mind, your body and your spirit.
Happiness can exist only in acceptance.
The Be Happy in LIFE coaching is a future oriented program. We don’t focus on the past, we do not look for labels, we don’t search for people or circumstances to blame for the unhappiness in our life. Instead you assess your situation, dream, plan the journey and start moving forward.
We say that this course is like a driving course. If you drive looking backwards, you will have lots of accidents, if you look forward most of the time and from time to time look at the rear mirror, or look backwards when overtaking, you are more likely to get to your destination, safely. We all have pain in the past but we can still succeed in life and be happy, we just need to look forward.
We learn at every session how to handle obstacles and setbacks, how to establish positive thinking and how to monitor growth with a new set of beliefs, values and rules to help us reach our goals fast, while enjoying the journey on the way. The past in this program has no power to determine our future.
This is the place to say that Life coaching is not for everyone as it is suitable only for people that want to achieve something and are able look forward. We say that people emotional state can be in one of two places. It can be in the Discovery Zone or Recovery zone.
If you are in discovery, you are aware of what happened to you in the past and are willing to clear the space to the new you. If you are in recovery zone, you can’t do that. You are blaming and angry and you need a help from a psychologist.
For a person in recovery, life coaching may seem to demanding as the place they are in is part of their identity and they are not ready to let it go. It is important for each person considering using a life coach to examine this emotional state before taking the program.
The coach’s task is to help the client constantly look and move forward, if someone is not ready to move forward, this will only increase the frustration.
He who has so little knowledge of human nature as to seek happiness by changing anything but his own disposition will waste his life in fruitless efforts.
In Be Happy in LIFE – Life coaching program you will be asked to fill in an online assessment that serves four purposes.
- Reading your assessment will allow your life coach to determine if this program is suitable for you.
- It will help your coach assess the right approach to help you achieve your goals
- It will save you paying for a session that will mostly be an opportunity for your coach to get to know you.
- Many clients report that filling in the form in itself, has made them realize many things, before they even came to the session.
Integration is an essential ingredient for the success in this program. Have you even been to a seminar, read a book or learned something that was very exciting, but after a week, it faded? We structure our program for full integration of what you learn back into your everyday life, so that it never fades.
What to expect from your life coaching
How do we do it? During every session, you will apply your new knowledge to yourself. You will face the hard questions and answer them. You will document your success in a journal and you will develop a new, empowering routine. Most importantly, you will choose some challenging actions to take in-between sessions, which will take you, step by step, from where you start to who you want to be.
There are two main formats for life coaching, one is a free flow session when you discuss with your life coach the topics that needs adjusting. At the end of this session you will be able to come up with a list of action steps that will help you move forward.
The second format is a written program that you can use during the session, after the session and even years after. We have made a decision to go with the second format as we believe that reinforcement and the ability to go back and reflect on what happened in the session and follow up activities are the best way to make sure you are not back into old thoughts and habits.
We have clients that finished their programs years ago and we can still refer them to sessions in their “manual” to overcome new challenges.
A man is not rightly conditioned until he is a happy, healthy, and prosperous being; and happiness, health, and prosperity are the result of a harmonious adjustment of the inner with the outer of the man with his surroundings.
We also found out that teaching our clients the life coaching techniques we use contributes to their success because they adopt a life coaching mentality and can become their own life coaches long after they finish their life coaching with us. One big challenge of many clients is to change without the protest of those around them.
We have added into this program activities that encourages our clients to coach the people around them. This approach has been the core of our program; we don’t only teach you how to be happy but how to help those around you to be happy. We believe this is why our program is very successful.
At Be Happy in LIFE we do not believe in one size fits all. We believe we are all unique and individuals and what suites one person is not necessary suitable for others. Before meeting your life coach you will be asked to fill in a form that includes an assessment.
This will help your coach tailor the right program for you and at the end of every session, you will have a chance to discuss the approach that best suits your style and needs.
In the Be Happy in LIFE program there are over 25 sessions that we strongly believe no one needs them all. Our average clients use about 10 sessions and it will take about a year to complete the 10 sessions. To help our clients stay motivated and incorporate their learning into their daily life, we have designed the program to gradually increase the gaps between the sessions.
- The gap between sessions 1 and 2 is about 2 weeks.
- The gap between sessions 2 and 3 is about 3 weeks
- The gap between sessions 3 and 4 is about 4 weeks.
It takes about a year to complete 10 sessions and this is roughly what our clients experience. Even clients who want to speed up the process and meet every week end up extending the gaps between the sessions as they feel more empowered.
We believe this is a healthy process and a sign of growth, independence and confidence, so around session 4, we encourage our clients to take control over their growth and development and determine how frequently they would like to meet.
No, not everyone is the same and not everyone is 100% comfortable with increasing the gaps in between sessions, this is why the coach will be in email or phone contact with the clients to assess if the gap is healthy or too long.
If things happen in between and you need to see your coach earlier, you will be able to contact use and re-schedule your session to suite your needs.
Our life coaching sessions takes about 1.5 hours and we ask that you allow 2 hours in case we are in the middle of something important (which happens often). We think that time should never be the reason we stop a good and healthy experience.
Many life coaching practices require the clients’ commitment by charging for 3-10 sessions in advance. We believe this philosophy is against our values and against what life coaching is all about. It is meant to give you a sense of control over your life. If you keep going to see your life coach because you have paid and you are only using up your money than you are not in control.
This is why we have a pay as you go philosophy, you have a session, you pay for it at the end of the session and you have the freedom to finish the program whenever you want.
Happiness comes only when we push our brains and hearts to the farthest reaches of which we are capable.
Our goal is to make sure you finish your program as soon as possible. We think that change can happen fast and many people just don’t’ know how to identify it. Being in constant therapy only increases the “something is wrong with me” mindset and it only brings sadness, frustration and misery.
Some clients reach their goals after 4, 7 or 8 session and there is no reason for them to continue the program. We encourage our clients to finish their program as soon as possible and celebrate and enjoy their success.
If you wish, your life coach will stay in contact with you long after you finish the program. We still have regular contact with clients who used our programs over 38 years ago.

Common things that prevent people from getting a life coach
I don’t have enough money
We have many clients that would like to change their money situation and find it hard to consider investing money to make money – which is the tool of the investor. Most life coaching clients report a significant increase in income and savings, as well as quality of life – otherwise they would have never taken the second session.
So this is just a temporary issue. We have clients that found a job, increased or even tripled their income within weeks or even promoted at work, without even asking.
As the gaps between sessions increase, it is easy to calculate that the life coaching programs on average includes a session once a month, which makes it more affordable for most people.
Also, you don’t have to commit to any number of sessions so there is not down payment or commitment. You use the Pay As You Go system and pay per session.
People spend lots of money trying to feel better by eating out, smoking, drinking or shopping. If you added those up, you could afford life coaching and stop spending that money for the rest of your life!
I don’t have enough time
It will be dishonest to say that life coaching does not take time. A part from the coaching sessions, you will have homework at home to make sure you incorporate this into your life and what you achieve will not be temporary but it is time well spent and our clients report that their lives are more organized.
Life coaching has gained them time, which they use for enjoyment, spending time with their loved ones or learning and developing to increase their skills.
The success formula includes a good time management skill and though we all have the same 24 hours each day, some make a good use of it and others don’t. We are not born with time management skills. The Be Happy in LIFE program teaches everyone to make a good use of the time.
People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost.

How Will I Be Coached?
You can choose how you want to be coached.
Face-to-face, one-on-one Life Coaching
You will meet your life coach for a close and personal life coaching service. During each session, your life coach will present a new skill to you and work with you through exercises and activities, answering all your questions as you go along. Sessions are delivered face-to-face in a quiet, private place in Brisbane (Australia).
This is the best option if you want to get the best, fastest and longest lasting results.
Life Coaching on the Phone or on Teams/WhatsApp
You will “meet” your life coach through your phone or your computer, using your microphone and your webcam. Your life coach will email you each session before hand and ask you to have the session open on the computer or printed for you to follow.
Your life coach will call you on the phone or through the computer and walk you through the session material and activities.
For this option you will need a phone number anywhere around the world or downloading Teams/WhatsApp (free) on your computer.
This is the best option if you live outside of Brisbane (Australia) and you are comfortable talking on the phone or on the computer. Remote life coaching saves travel time and allows more flexible scheduling.
By Email
Your life coach will send you sessions by email, which includes information about a new skills and work sheets for you to work through. You will read the material, complete the exercises and email them back to your life coach, along with any questions you may have, which your life coach will answer personally.
There is no automatically-generated program for the email responses. Your life coach will read your messages and respond to you personally.
For this option you will need reasonable typing skills to allow you freely to write your answers.
This is the best option if you want more flexibility and you are comfortable interacting by email. Email life coaching also allows you to work “offline”, whenever you have time and energy.
In a Group
The group life coaching program condenses the main sessions into one full day. A Full day program allows the clients to save time and start the implementation earlier.
Some clients chose to come to the sessions with other family members or friends. They form a group of up to 3 people and go through the process together. This option is meant to save them some time and money and allows them to work together to achieve a specific goal.
Another option is to join one of our life coaching groups and get to interact with other people in a friendly atmosphere. This is the best option if you prefer face-to-face contact, you want to save money and you can make it to one of our group programs. Group life coaching also gives you the opportunity to learn from and interact with others in similar situations and form friendships with them.
We run life coaching groups in Brisbane (Australia) from time to time, but most of our group life coaching programs are booked by organizations from all over the world. If they are open to the public, we announce it through our website
